What this site does with your calculator inputs

All calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator, load, voltage, distance, and so on, are never sent to our servers and are not stored anywhere.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic: which pages are visited, roughly how long people stay, and which country or device type they're browsing from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects your IP address (we've turned on IP anonymization), browser and device details, and general location. It does not see anything you type into a calculator. Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles this data, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you're visiting from the UK or EU, you may see a cookie consent prompt while we finish rolling that out; until then, Analytics loads by default and this section will be updated the day that changes.

Advertising

This site does not currently run third-party advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe what's shown and how any ad partner uses data, before any ads go live.
